NEWS & ANNOUNCEMENTS: Prostock snowmobiles on asphalt comes of age:
It’s official! NHRA has announced that Division 1 will feature Prostock Snowmobiles as a recognized class at selected events within the Division for
2010. Rules, Tech, fuel check and administration will be handled directly by NHRA. Only a NHRA membership and license are required to compete. The series will entail a 4-race schedule with a final Championship event at the famous Maplegrove Dragway in October. The series champion will be presented the champions “Walley” and receive a champions jacket at he Divisional Banquet.
Schedule 2010…
For the upcoming race season Bichteman Racing will compete in both the NHRA Division 1 and NSDRA (NHRA Division 3) events. This will provide a minimum 10 race schedule and the Team will vie for championships in both divisions. Check out the Schedule for more info.
The Driver is Back! Chris Smith says he ready to “rock & roll”. Christopher Smith will again ride the #27 “Hannay Reels” Prostock for the Team this year. Chris is looking forward to early season testing and a great season. He’s due for a breakout year. New Shirts Go On Sale… As part of an expanded marketing plan, began last season, Bichteman Racing will continue to offer Tees and Sweatshirts for sale at all races. The Shirts have images of the race sled and the Bichteman logo. The cool flames and skull graphics are sure to be a favorite for the crowd. Tees will sell for $15.00 and Sweats for $25.00. Carbon Fiber Ski-doo XP bodies… Coming soon Bichteman racing will offer lightweight yet strong carbon fiber XP bodies for race sleds. The complete body includes a stock windshield mount and console. The aero package, which includes an air dam, maintains the space age look of an XP MXZ, with virtually no weight. Also Bichteman Racing will offer a carbon fiber enhancement to the current production RT body as well. The RT shape can now be fitted with a console and windshield also. |
